ELECTRICAL ENGINEER MANAGER

Position Summary

The Electrical Engineer Manager will support the successful development and delivery of multiple wind farm projects under Triconti ECC Renewables Corporation (the “Company”). Working closely with the Project Managers and cross-functional teams, the Electrical Engineer Manager will assist in the coordination of technical and non-technical project components, documentation, compliance, and stakeholder engagement including but not limited to Wind Resource Assessment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Grid

• Leads coordination with consultants on System Impact Studies, Facilities Studies, and other required studies.

• Leads identifying grid connection points by gathering and organizing relevant technical data.

• Research and compile information on grid capacity and potential bottlenecks for each project.

• Monitor transmission and substation updates from NGCP (e.g., plans, upgrades, decommissioning) and summarize impacts on projects.

• Leads stakeholder communication with NGCP, DOE, ERC, LGUs, and other relevant stakeholders for Grid related topics and other assigned tasks.

• Tracks the status of all grid-related deliverables for each project.

Wind Resource Assessment

• Oversees project implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance of wind resource measurement campaigns through third party consultants, partners or service providers. This includes the following:

• Track inventory and update records for all wind measurement tools and equipment.

• Provide field support during commissioning, maintenance, or decommissioning activities by third party vendors.

• Leads the review of installation, testing and commission, maintenance, troubleshooting and decommission reports by third party vendors.

• Serves as the point person for WRA topics which includes leading the coordination with internal stakeholders, third party vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.

Permitting and Regulatory Compliance

• Collaborate with the Project Support Officers and Project Managers in compiling, submitting, and monitoring project permits (e.g., ECC, NCIP, NGCP, DOE).

• Ensure timely compliance with permitting and regulatory requirements through effective coordination and documentation.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate and schedule meetings, consultations, and follow-ups with local government units, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders as guided by the Project Manager or Technical Team Head.

• Prepare minutes of meetings, support documentation, and internal updates related to stakeholder engagement.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepares technical and non-technical reports, presentations, and other project communications.

• Support in compiling data for regular updates to internal teams, international partners, and relevant agencies.

Site Support and Field Work

• Participate in site visits and stakeholder coordination activities as needed.

• Monitor and document on-site activities, issues, and progress for reporting purposes.

Health, Safety, and Environment

• Serves as the Project Safety Officer of their assigned project.

• Support the implementation of HSE plans and standards in coordination with the HSE team.

• Support in preparation of safety-related documentation and compliance reports, in accordance with the Department of Energy’s Renewable Energy Safety, Health, and Environment Rules and Regulations.

General Ad Hoc Activities

• Perform related ad hoc duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree holder in Electrical Engineering, preferably with background in Grid Operations, Grid Connection Assessment and NGCP regulatory matters.

• At least three years of relevant project management experience in a lead, supervisory, or managerial role.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English).

• Ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex project environments, prepare responses/narrative quickly and clearly and use personal initiative.

• Must possess exceptional interpersonal, analytical, networking, decision-making or negotiation skills, and a highly articulate collaborator.

• Experience in Wind Assessment is a plus.
