Atimonan Windkraft Corporation secures GEAP Capacity, Wins Local Support

Atimonan Windkraft Corporation (AWC), together with representatives from the Board of Investments, met with Quezon Governor Helen Tan and her department heads to present the Quezon Wind Power Project, one of the province’s emerging RE projects. The project had successfully secured capacity in the recently concluded 4th round of the Green Energy Auction, a signficant milestone as it advances towards implementation. and is progressing steadily towards implementation. Governor Tan expressed her strong support for the project, conveying her optimism for the economic and social benefits for the province, while underscoring the importance of proper environmental stewardship throughout its development.
